"The Russians continue their terror tactics. They have accumulated missiles to target Ukrainian infrastructure and conduct warfare against civilians during the harsh winter months. They have been supported by their deranged allies, particularly from North Korea. Currently, the Russians are carrying out a combined shelling across the country. They are even targeting children. Ukraine can respond," said the head of the Ukrainian President's Office, Andriy Yermak.
Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko warned that emergency power outages had been put in place due to the attack.
Halushchenko stated on Facebook that Ukraine's energy sector is again facing significant attacks, with energy facilities nationwide being targeted. In response, the transmission system operator, Ukrenerho, has enforced emergency power outages.
