Taylor Swift romance chronicles: From Harry Styles to Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift has relationships with stars like Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Joe Jonas. Not all of these relationships were successful, but many resulted in hits that are hummed worldwide today.

One of Taylor Swift's first media relationships was with Joe Jonas, known from the Jonas Brothers band. The couple dated for just five months (from July to October 2008), and their breakup was talked about worldwide. All because of the singer's interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, in which she said:

- When I find that person who is right for me, he'll be wonderful, and when I look at that person, I'm not even gonna be able to remember the boy who broke up with me over the phone in 25 seconds when I was 18 - she said.

Swift wrote two songs about Jonas: "Last Kiss" and "Forever & Always."

In 2009, for several months, Swift dated Lucas Till, an actor known from the "X-Men" series. After breaking up - also in the same year - the artist got involved with singer John Mayer. The musician was known for numerous infidelities, and the relationship with the singer ended classically - Mayer left the teenager for another star. It quickly turned out that John was dating Katy Perry, and Swift wrote the song "Dear John" especially for him. "Don't you think nineteen's too young to be played by. Your dark, twisted games when I loved you so?," she sang.

John Mayer did not hide that it was a blow for him. In one of the interviews, he admitted that he felt bad when he listened to his ex-girlfriend's song.

- It made me feel terrible, because I didn't deserve it. I'm pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It was a really lousy thing for her to do - he said.

In 2009, Taylor Swift was also dating actor Taylor Lautner, known from the "Twilight" film series. The pair met on the movie "Valentine's Day" set and tried to keep their romance a secret for a long time. They did not succeed, and the media quickly learned that there was more than just friendship between them.

After breaking up, the couple remained on good terms. The actor's current wife is even a big fan of Swift, and she approved of Lautner's appearance in his ex-girlfriend's music video.

Taylor and Jake were one of the hottest couples in show business. They dated between 2010 and 2011. Apparently, it was Gyllenhaal who initiated the breakup with the star because he was bothered by the 10-year age difference. The star claimed that if Taylor had been closer in age, "they might have made it." The artist, of course, did not remain silent and sang in one of the songs: "I'll get older but your lovers stay my age."

These words could have been a reference to Jake's relationship with Jeanne Cadieu, who is 15 years younger.

Swift and Harris dated in 2015. Their relationship seemed perfect, but after a year, they announced their breakup. However, they assured that they remained friends. Until. Shortly after the breakup with Harris, Swift was seen in the company of Tom Hiddleston. They were photographed in tender embraces, and the media headlines accused Swift of cheating. The singer faced a wave of hate. Taylor added fuel to the fire when she publicly announced that she was the creator of Harris's hit "This Is What You Came For."

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn began dating in 2019. Their six-year relationship was the artist's longest. Throughout this time, they were seen as a great duo and a well-matched couple.

The most buzz about Taylor's heart being taken again was at the end of last year. The artist's new chosen one is American football star Travis Kelce. He also achieves many successes, including, of course, within his team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Interestingly, he was also famous for participating in the reality show "Catching Kelce," where he was looking for his other half.
