Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he intends to present his "victory plan" at the contact group meeting in the Ramstein format, scheduled for 12th October in Germany. According to the Ukrainian president, these are "clear, concrete steps towards a just end to the war."

"We are preparing for the 25th Ramstein meeting on October 12, which will be the first to take place at the leaders’ level. We will present the Victory Plan—clear, concrete steps towards a just end to the war. The determination of our partners and the strengthening of Ukraine are what can stop Russian aggression," emphasised the president on social media.

"We extend our gratitude to everyone who is helping to defend our state, Europe, and the entire world," he added.

Joe Biden will host the meeting

The United States announced the October meeting. It is set to take place on 12th October in Germany at the American military base in Ramstein.

The assembly host will be President Joe Biden, with Ukraine represented by Volodymyr Zelensky.

The Ramstein Group, an alliance of over 50 countries, was formed in response to the Russian invasion and aimed to provide regular military aid to Ukraine.
