Zelensky underscores urgency of continued US military support
Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized that preparations are underway to ensure the military is not caught off guard, addressing concerns about the possible cessation of U.S. military aid to Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president once again referred to the unfortunate meeting with Donald Trump, which took place on Friday at the White House. - The format of what happened, I don't think brought us anything positive or additional as partners. I don't want to talk about what happened (...) I wouldn't want to discuss why it happened - he noted.
Zelensky stressed that the potential end of Washington's aid would be "disadvantageous to everyone," and Congress previously approved decisions regarding support.
The Ukrainian president pointed out that we are ready to continue the dialogue and hope for new assistance. Stopping this aid would benefit Putin solely. Therefore, I believe the United States, its leaders, and representatives of the civilised world will definitely not support Putin.

Zelensky also announced that Ukraine is preparing for all challenges to ensure there are "no surprises in the military."
