At 36, Illia Golem, known as the most monstrous bodybuilder in the world, has died. The Belarusian, famous for his exceptional physique, passed away after a heart attack at his home on 6 September. Despite resuscitation efforts by his wife, Anna, and a rapid helicopter transport to the hospital, Golem lost the fight for his life.

Illia Golem, also known as the "340-lb beast" and "Mutant," was an impressive figure in the bodybuilding world.

He was known for his enormous chest circumference of 59 inches and biceps measuring 25 inches. Golem was renowned for his incredible strength and could bench press 600 pounds (272 kilograms) and deadlift 700 pounds (317 kilograms).

Although he didn't participate in official competitions, he gained huge popularity on social media, amassing over 300,000 followers on Instagram.

Despite his passion and efforts in promoting hard work and self-improvement, Golem was also known for his extreme diet.

His daily diet consisted of seven meals, providing 16,500 calories, which included 108 pieces of sushi and over five pounds of steak. Such an extreme lifestyle, as it turned out, affected his health.

The bodybuilder's wife, Anna, thanked everyone for their support and condolences. She admitted that she spent every day by her husband’s side, hoping for his recovery. Unfortunately, doctors gave her the tragic news. Illia's heartbeat for only two more days and his brain was damaged.
