The President of the USA is experiencing a COVID-19 infection. The symptoms are mild, and Joe Biden's health does not concern the doctors. The White House physician, Dr. Kevin O'Connor, informed us that the patient was receiving medication and that his vital parameters were normal.

The COVID-19 test conducted on Joe Biden on Wednesday returned a positive result. The American president most likely contracted the virus during his stay in Las Vegas, where he participated in a series of events.

According to White House physician Kevin O'Connor, everything is going well. The fight against the infection does not hinder Biden from "handling the affairs of the American nation".

During the illness, the president is isolated in Delaware. The symptoms, as reported by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, are mild. Dr. O'Connor explained that Biden is experiencing some upper respiratory problems and has a runny nose but does not have a fever.

The doctor also assured that "with the president's permission," he will provide updates on Biden's health condition. He explained that Biden had taken a dose of Paxlovid - a drug that reduces the risk of complications from a COVID-19 infection.

This is the second infection for 81-year-old Biden. The first time the virus attacked him was in July 2022. Recently, he suffered from a common cold, which negatively impacted his debate with the presidential contender Donald Trump.

The infection did not thwart President Biden's plans, except for one appearance on Wednesday, when the illness was announced. After visiting Las Vegas, he planned to stay in Delaware, on the east coast of the United States.
