Czech campaign gifts Black Hawk helicopter to Ukraine

The Czechs organised an initiative called "A Gift for Putin" and raised over £1.9 million to purchase a military Black Hawk helicopter. The helicopter will be sent to Ukraine to aid in the fight against the Russian military. This marks the first time the public purchased military equipment to support Ukrainians.

Vladimir Putin is unlikely to appreciate the "gift" that the Czechs have prepared for him. The Russian leader will receive a "big present" as part of the Czech volunteers' campaign. It is a modern military Black Hawk helicopter intended for Ukraine.

The acquisition of the helicopter is a result of the impressive success of the "A Gift for Putin" campaign. A total of £1.9 million was deposited into the fundraiser's account. The campaign, initiated in November 2023, garnered support from over 20,000 individuals.

The military UH-60 Black Hawk will be delivered to the Ukrainian armed forces this month. This will strengthen the offensive capabilities of the Ukrainian army in its battles against the Russian aggressor.

We did it! The Czechs are sending a Black Hawk helicopter to Ukraine. We managed to secure a cheaper, newer machine that Ukraine urgently needs. Let’s finish what we started together and send Chestmir to fight against the dark Empire - announced the organisers of the fundraiser, as quoted by the British "Metro".

The Czech public has thus become the first in the world to directly support the Ukrainian army. The helicopter for Ukraine was entirely funded through grassroots, voluntary donations.

The UH-60 Black Hawk will undoubtedly provide significant support for Ukraine on the front lines. The helicopter is regarded as one of the most durable and versatile machines in the world. It is the primary assault vehicle of the United States Army.
