Tragic news from Majorca. Clodagh, an 11-year-old girl, has passed away after falling from a hotel balcony on the seventh floor. Despite efforts from rescuers, she could not be saved. The Prime Minister of Ireland conveyed Condolences to the girl's family, from where the girl originated.

The tragedy occurred in Alcúdia in Majorca. Clodagh was there with her parents. They were supposed to return home on Monday, 22nd July. Sadly, the tragedy happened on the last day of their stay.

Around 6:45 AM, Clodagh went out on the balcony while her parents were still asleep. Eventually, she fell from the seventh floor onto the canopy of the hotel's restaurant. Rescuers tried to revive her, but unfortunately, they couldn't restore her vital functions.

Clodagh trained at the Parnell A.C. Juveniles Sports Club, and club representatives posted an emotional tribute on social media.

Clodagh was a beautiful, spirited child and a great athlete who excelled in many sports, not just athletics. Her family Valerie, Liam, Will, and David and extended family are in our hearts, thoughts and prayers at this difficult time, wrote the club representatives.

Majorca. 11-year-old girl dies. Prime Minister extends condolences

The tragedy has shaken both the local community and the Irish public. The Prime Minister of Ireland, Simon Harris, has extended his condolences to the girl's family.

So sad to hear of the tragic loss of Clodagh Phelan. So much promise and personality snatched away in a terrible accident. Thoughts with her family and community at this truly awful time, wrote the head of the Irish government.

An investigation into the death of the 11-year-old from Ireland is currently underway. The involvement of third parties has been ruled out. However, investigators will check if the balcony she fell from was in proper technical condition. Unfortunately, this is not the first such tragic incident in Majorca. In May of this year, four people died, and 27 were injured due to the collapse of a terrace at Medusa Beach Club. The cause was an overloaded structure - at the time of the tragedy, too many people were present.
