Burnt hair is one of the most common side effects of improperly conducted bleaching. If you have suffered from a failed colouring job, be sure to check out our tips. Your hair can look beautiful again.

What characterises burnt hair? These are strands that have lost their natural structure – they are porous, frizzy, and break easily, lacking elasticity. Fortunately, several methods can restore their former shine.

Do you need to cut your hair?

Is a visit to the hairdresser necessary? Unfortunately, in many cases, the answer will be affirmative. No miraculous method will be sufficient if your hair is split and crumbling. The damage will only worsen, so don’t hesitate to seek help from a specialist.

How to regenerate bleached hair?

However, it's worth knowing that several home remedies for regenerating damaged hair (but not those in critical condition) exist. It’s worth using herbs in your care routine. Cooled infusion of nettle, field horsetail, or burdock can be applied to the strands and scalp. This is a natural and gentle method of regeneration.

Homemade oil can also work wonders. Heat olive oil and pour it into a glass bottle to prepare it. Add rosemary oil and massage the mixture into your hair, leaving it on for about 20 minutes. Then, wash your hair with shampoo. The olive oil will moisturise your hair, while the rosemary is an antioxidant. This treatment can be repeated once a week.

Another way to regenerate hair is a highly nourishing hair mask. You can make it with ingredients you have at home. Mix two eggs with three tablespoons of honey, apply it to your hair, and cover your head with a cap. After 30 minutes, wash your hair with shampoo and use conditioner. Honey moisturises and protects the hair from damage, while eggs help rebuild the burnt strands. This perfect combination nourishes and moisturises damaged hair.
