Cake in 20 minutes. You only need 4 ingredients

Baking is nothing more than chemistry. You need to know how to combine individual ingredients to turn them into a light and fluffy or soft and moist cake.

If you are a beginner baker, start with easy recipes like sponge cake. It is really simple to make. You only need flour, baking powder, four large eggs, and sugar. The batter can be enriched with additions such as cocoa, cinnamon, raisins, nuts, or chocolate.

It is perfect as a cake base or a layer cake. After baking, it is very soft, fluffy, and moist. Best of all, it stays fresh for several days after baking.

  • Four eggs,
  • Four tablespoons of flour,
  • Four tablespoons of sugar,
  • 1.5 teaspoons of baking powder

How to prepare the cake: Take the eggs out of the fridge to warm up. Crack them into a large bowl. Add sugar. Whisk everything into a fluffy foam. When the mixture thickens, add the flour sifted through a sieve along with the baking powder. Pour the ready batter into a baking tray lined with baking paper. Put the cake in the oven preheated to 170°C (top and bottom heat). Bake it for 15 minutes, until a toothpick comes out dry. Serve immediately after baking.
