Sabrina Carpenter announces European tour

On 18 July, Sabrina Carpenter took to social media to announce her upcoming European tour. The artist revealed nine dates, with most of the performances set to take place in the United Kingdom. She will visit Dublin, Birmingham, London, Glasgow, Manchester, Paris, Berlin, Brussels, and Amsterdam in March next year. European fans, however, are not entirely satisfied with the announcement.

Has the singer disappointed fans?

As noted, most of Sabrina’s spring tour concerts will occur in the United Kingdom. Many internet users expressed disappointment with the singer's plans, feeling that a large part of Europe was overlooked. Comments included, "Four dates in Europe that are not in the United Kingdom. FOUR. FOUR." and "Sorry, but this is not a European tour". Other fans remarked, "It’s quite exciting, but visiting four cities outside the United Kingdom can hardly be called a European tour".

Additionally, the star signed her post with the words: "Performing live! From Europe & the UK", which many interpreted as suggesting that the United Kingdom is not part of Europe. This has not gone unnoticed by internet users. "The United Kingdom is in Europe". "Ma’am, the United Kingdom is in Europe". "UK is also Europe" - fans commented.
