"Hard times, hard solutions," said one of the passengers of the budget airline. She demonstrated how she creatively avoids extra luggage fees. The idea, although effective, is controversial.

Nowadays, travelling by plane presents many challenges, one of which is the stringent baggage regulations. Airlines such as Ryanair are known for their strict limits on the number and size of bags, which encourages passengers to be inventive.

It was this ingenuity that led to a woman being hailed as a "genius" after she revealed a way to transport extra baggage for free on a plane.

She hid the luggage under her dress

Sara Loureiro, a popular TikTok user, shared on her profile the story of her friend Nina, who managed to take four bags on holiday while paying for only one.

In the video, which quickly went viral, Nina is seen at the airport wearing a long black dress and silver cowboy boots. At first glance, it seems like Nina meets all the airline's baggage requirements.

The truth is revealed when the passenger lifts her dress, showing that she is wearing three bags underneath. She cleverly hid them to be completely invisible to airport staff and other passengers.

"Hard times, hard solutions" – comments Sara, emphasising how creativity and a bit of courage can help avoid extra baggage fees.

Passengers' creativity knows no bounds

Nina's idea worked because during the security check at the airport, you can have any number of personal bags. The key to success was to put on the extra bags under the dress just before boarding the plane. This way, she bypassed the strict baggage limits imposed by airlines such as Ryanair.

The video quickly gained popularity on TikTok, garnering thousands of likes and comments. Internet users admire the author's ingenuity, and some of them have announced that they will try this method during their travels.

However, there are also critical voices that highlight that such actions can be seen as cheating and potentially lead to stricter baggage regulations by airlines. This was the case with pillows, in which passengers would stuff extra luggage. Ultimately, the airline banned them on board.
