At the beginning of the year, the media were electrified by the news of King Charles III's cancer diagnosis. The monarch underwent treatment while trying to fulfill his royal duties. The latest information about the king's health is promising.

A royal source cited by the Daily Mail indicates that the king's health is in "very good" shape. This positive information emerged just before Charles III celebrates the second anniversary of ascending the British throne. This year has not been easy for the British monarch, who received a cancer diagnosis and underwent treatment.

Despite everything, he tried to remain as active as his illness allowed him. In this way, he wanted to assure his subjects that he could still fulfil his role. Fortunately, it seems that the treatment has yielded positive results.

Health must remain the number one priority, although everything is heading in a very positive direction — conveyed the source.

"From the very beginning of the health challenge, the king’s determination was to be as public as he could be, so people could be reassured about how much he was able to do under the circumstances, in accordance with the doctors' advice," the source added. Also, Queen Camilla, while opening a new oncology centre in Bath, revealed that King Charles III "is doing very well."

King Charles III prepares for a foreign trip

King Charles and Camilla are preparing for an important trip to Australia and Samoa this autumn. It will be their first longer foreign trip since Charles' cancer diagnosis was announced. Efforts have been made to ensure the recovering monarch's journey is not too demanding. Apart from the planned meetings, the monarch will have time to catch his breath and rest.

At the beginning of his treatment, King Charles stepped back from most of his royal duties. For three months, he did not participate in public engagements, where he was represented by his wife or other members of the monarchy. In April, King Charles III appeared at a London oncology centre, where he met with patients and staff of the facility. Since then, he has been appearing regularly in public.
