Madonna's son David Banda embraces independent life in the Bronx

Madonna's adopted son surprises everyone with his confession. Eighteen-year-old David Banda has left his mother’s home, and although he admits he sometimes lacks money, for instance, for food, he is happy about his independence.

Few stars in the music industry can boast such an impressive career as Madonna. The 65-year-old singer, despite the inevitable passage of time, still enjoys fans' affection, as evidenced by her latest concert tour, "The Celebration Tour." During these performances, her children also made appearances on stage. For instance, her 11-year-old daughter Estere showcased her dance moves.

I think what my children learned the most in this year of rehearsing and performing is that if you want to follow your dreams, you have to work hard for them. And if all of them choose something different later in life, they will never forget this year of blood, sweat, and tears, Madonna confessed in an interview with "W Magazine".

Not all of Madonna's children want to live in luxury. A few days ago, news spread about the financial situation of the artist's 18-year-old son. David Banda has not only left his mother's home but also moved to the Bronx, one of New York City's neighbourhoods with a poor reputation. Although Madonna's 18-year-old son must seek food, he is happy about his independence.

I love it. I’m not on my own, I’ve got my girlfriend. It’s lovely to experience it being 9 o’clock at night, me being hungry and realizing that I don’t have enough money to get food, but we don’t have enough food in the house and scavenging. It’s fun to be young, David shared, quoted by the "New York Post" during a live Instagram broadcast.

According to the "New York Post" website, David Banda is earning a living by teaching guitar. The teenager, who has often accompanied his famous mum on stage, charges around £160 per lesson. Instagram lets you book a lesson with the 65-year-old "Queen of Pop"'s son.
