A newborn with an uncut umbilical cord was found in a dumpster last Sunday (21 July) in Houston. A heart-wrenching video showing officers pulling the baby out from between cartons and wrapping him in a blanket brings tears to the eyes.

The recording appeared on the American channel ABC13 and caused a great stir among viewers. It shows police officers, with the help of paramedics, pulling a tiny boy from the dumpster located at the back of an apartment building.

The medics' assessment indicates that the abandoned child is a newborn. According to the "Daily Mail," at the time of discovery, the baby still had an uncut umbilical cord.

According to a residential building employee, the child was born to one of the food truck workers parked next to the property.

According to testimonies from nearby residents, the food truck was parked at this location for only a few hours that day.

Now, the Houston Police Department is investigating the truck where the child's mother supposedly worked. The boy was examined in a hospital and is in good condition.

It turns out that this is not the only similar incident recently. Less than a day after the shocking discovery, next to the food truck, a two-month-old baby was found by police officers in Pasadena.
