WhatsApp is working on another feature for its messenger. A new button will soon be added to the application, which will help clear the entire list of unread messages at once. This is an excellent solution for all WhatsApp users who consciously ignore some conversations.

Using WhatsApp or another messenger frequently among a large group of friends can quickly lead to a situation where there are many conversations on the chat list that we no longer follow for various reasons. WhatsApp plans to introduce a new button that will allow users in such situations to quickly mark all messages in such chats as read, thus organising the conversation list on the home screen.

The new WhatsApp feature is currently being tested among beta testers. As noted by WABetaInfo, it appeared in the latest version of the Android messenger, version 2.24.18.11. The specific date for introducing the new button to the stable version of WhatsApp is not yet known. However, experience shows that from the start of beta testing, users usually have to wait a few weeks for implementation - sometimes up to a maximum of a few months.

The WhatsApp team is simultaneously working on other new features. The developers are also preparing an option to block unknown senders' messages automatically. This is particularly important from a security perspective, as the option aims to prevent phishing attacks, which are increasingly used by fraudsters and often carried out using WhatsApp.

One of the most popular methods of fraud is posing as buyers on platforms such as OLX, Allegro, or Vinted. Fraudsters make fake purchase offers, claiming they have transferred money, and ask the seller to click on a link and fill out a form, which leads to data theft.
