Russians fired rockets from North Korea towards Kyiv. One of the missiles fell on a house in Brovary County, killing a man and his four-year-old son.

Russians attacked Kyiv at night. However, the rockets did not reach the capital and hit Brovary County instead. A man and his four-year-old son were killed, and three other people, including a 12-year-old, were injured.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky calculated that just this week, the Russian army used (for strikes on Ukraine) over 30 rockets and more than 800 guided bombs.

Last night in the Kyiv region, a father and a young son - the child was four years old - were unfortunately killed by a Russian strike. My condolences to the family and friends. Three more people were injured, including a child - a 12-year-old boy. According to preliminary information, the Russians used a North Korean missile, and it was another deliberate terrorist attack against Ukraine. Pyrotechnics continue to work to establish the exact details of the missile, said Volodymyr Zelensky.

During the use of such weapons, Russians have no geographical restrictions - since the first days of the full-scale war (since February 2022 ), the entire territory of Ukraine remains threatened,

The use of four missiles manufactured by North Korea and marked as KN-23 was confirmed on Sunday by the Ukrainian Air Force. They also reported the shooting down of 53 out of 57 Russian drones used by the Russians during nighttime raids. The drones were destroyed in various parts of Ukraine.

"Regarding Russian attacks with North Korean missiles, one can say the following: KN-23 ballistic missiles rarely hit intended targets, but they pose a serious threat to the population (civilian)," explained the Air Force Command statement.

The nighttime Russian air attack on Kyiv was the second since the beginning of August. Just like six days ago, the missiles and drones did not reach the city, with the suburbs of Kyiv bearing the brunt of the impact.

Out of the several dozen kamikaze drones used by the Russians to attack Ukraine, more than 10 were directed at the capital. No damage or casualties were reported in the city, previously informed the head of Kyiv's military administration, Serhiy Popko.
